The Watershed Soundscape project was co-created by Sara Fraker and Jackie Glazier, and is a multidisciplinary approach to building community through music, art, and watershed science in the Tucson Area. The project team and collaborators include university researchers, nonprofit organizations, Indigenous voices, school communities, musicians, artists, and poets.
The project explores themes of drought mitigation, ecological restoration, and connecting to place in the local Santa Cruz Watershed, promoting educational outreach and experiences through the arts.
